The Trivantians still have the advantage of overwhelming numbers and they are all skilled warriors. Besides Wren's eyesight, the help of a visionary boy who is the son of Jaramarel, and crossbow armament are Trivantes' other strengths. Meanwhile, the eyesight of Hanniwa and Kofun did not help the Payan army much.

Jun and Baba devise a variety of strategies to gain the upper hand, including luring the enemies into a canyon and setting fire to them, and ultimately a decisive trap on a glacier.

At the end of the battle, Edo lures Baba to a bridge for their final duel: Edo has no home to return to after this defeat. He chooses to die at the hands of Baba and before he dies he learns a bitter truth: it was their father who ordered Baba to kill Edo.

After resisting the invasion of Trivantes, Queen Maghra announces to dissolve the Witchfinders and convert them into the Royal Guard, of which Jun is made High General. About half of them opposes the decision and leaves the army, including Commander Ferik.

At the end of the episode, Ferik - now a General of the Witchfinders finds Oloman to test explosives for unknown schemes. Baba after spending a night with Maghra quietly leaves the palace. Kane kills Paris.

In "The Queen's Speech" Episode of SEE Season 2, Maghra, backed by Tamacti Jun and the Witchfinders, overthrows Kane to become the new Queen of Paya; the Trivantians have advanced deep into Payan territory.

After successfully dispatching assassins to kill Trivantes' emissaries, Kane summons the Council to declare the holy war. According to the pre-arrangements, Tamacti Jun appears at the Council and exposes the truth about Kane's destruction of the former capital of Kanzua, killing most of the population including his wife and children. Jun's accusations are backed and rectified by Maghra and Harlan.

Maghra becomes Queen; Kane escapes the death blow because she is pregnant with Kofun's child.

At this time, Edo's army quickly annexes Woodvale city without any causalities and they quickly move towards the Imperial City of Pennsa. Kane sends troops towards the border to stop the enemies. Hanniwa and Kofun are determined to join the army, which makes Baba Voss also join to protect his children.

Maghra also wants to go to war but General Jun advises her to stay in the capital. Maghra delivers an emotional and inspiring speech to the people and soldiers of Pennsa, in the context of Paya's forces being junior to that of Trivantes in all aspects.

At the first confrontation between the two sides, Jun soon realizes that the Trivantian army actually outnumbered by twice. Meanwhile, Edo secretly sends assassins to storm the Pennsa palace to assassinate Maghra; Harlan is mortally wounded trying to save his wife.

Edo Voss feels that it would be inconvenient for him to personally participate in the negotiations, so he promotes Wren to the rank of Captain and represent him. Edo also instructs Wren to find a way to make this meeting fail.
