Sweet Girl: The 18-year-old Assassin on her Quest for Revenge 🎥

Sweet Girl is a 2021 American action horror film directed by Brian Andrew Mendoza, and starring Jason Momoa, Isabela Merced. The film follows Ray Cooper on his quest to get revenge on a BioPrime Pharmaceutical Corporation for postponing the production of a drug that can cure his wife Amanda's cancer.

In Pittsburgh, when BioPrime CEO Simon Keeley is arguing with Senator Diana Morgan live on TV, Ray calls and threatens Keeley, saying that if he didn't reverse his decision on the drug cancellation, Ray would kill him. Keeley does not care about Ray's threatening; then Amanda die soon after.

Six months later, Ray receives a call from a journalist, Martin Bennett, saying he had evidence of criminal activity carried out by BioPrime. They meet on a subway train, in which Ray's daughter Rachel also follows in secrect. However, an assassin named Santos suddenly appears, stabs Bennett to death and then knocks out Ray and Rachel on the platform.

Two years later, the film follows Ray and Rachel searching for leads related to BioPrime: CEO Keeley, Chairman Vinod Shah, and finally Senator Morgan.

The film's late twist is that "Ray" is actually Rachel. Ray already died of his wounds at the subway yard long ago, and Rachel, suffering from PTSD and dissociative identity disorder, has devoted herself to fulfilling her quest for revenge since then.

The content of the film is considered cliché with a bit of a late twist, but it is a good way that most of the action sequences in the film is done by Jason Momoa. This is also one of the few works in which Jason has many opportunities to show his inner acting ability besides the muscles.
