Returning from the Omega mission in Central America lasting many months, Bravo members do not have much time to spend with their family, but soon mobilized to West Africa.

SGS's Alid is scheduled to have a meeting with ISIS in the West African country of Mali. Bravo flies to Burkina Faso, and from there the along with Ground Branch officers use armored SUVs north to Mali.

Many base inadequacies lead Bravo to fall into a dangerous closed ambush. First of all, intelligence on the situation in the area was several weeks out of date. After that, the airbird (ISR - Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance) has to go offline when Bravo enter the area so they are blind of the surrounding situations.

Being outnumbered and running low on ammunition after long fighting, Bravo desperately wait for the Quick reaction force (QRF) air force to arrive.

Unlike the previous 4 seasons, Season 5 of Seal Team closes with an open ending. The initial success in converting its release platform from CBS to the Paramount+ has helped Seal Team get a greenlight for season 6 renewal. In fact, not showing on the TV channel has saved Seal Team from having to go through strict censorship, and creators have the opportunity to explore more nuanced topics than before.

Max Thieriot - who plays Clay in Seal Team - has just signed on to co-develop the plot for a new series called Cal Fire. The story follows young inmate Bode Donovan, who participates in a firefighting program for inmates in exchange for the opportunity to shorten his prison sentence.

But don't worry, at the moment Max has no plans to star a role in Cal Fire, he will just be behind the camera. We will still see him as Clay Spenser in Seal Team.

See you again in season 6 of Seal Team!

After the confirmation of radioactive material on the corpse in the previous episode, Davis researchs the Colectivo team's truck routes to determine the location of the nuclear enrichment facility in Venezuela. She identifies it as under a textile factory; however, the information must be sent to the US for intelligence to find a way to verify.

After returning from the "folk" therapy, Jason decides to inform the whole Omega team (plus Davis, Sonny, and Brock) about his previous mistake and his memory problems. Jason leaves the team to discuss and decide whether he should participate in the operation to attack the nuclear facility.

Bravo's attack plan is to destroy the eight pillars of the textile factory, causing it to collapse and bury the nuclear facility below, along with radioactive material. However, at the scene, Sonny realizes that there are 9 pillars, and as long as 1 is still standing, the structure is very difficult to collapse. Jason has a smart initiative to handle the situation.

At the end of the episode, when their vehicle is about to leave the scene to return to Colombia, they see two police cars approaching.

As tensions escalate between Jason and Ray-Clay, Ray must tell Jason about Jason's mistake in the previous operation. In the end, Jason has to admit his amnesia – something he himself knew very well, but has to try to hide it because if  the Command found out, he would have to be discharged.

Ray takes Jason to the home of an American veteran who now lives in Colombia. This person also suffered from psychological trauma and healed himself with folk therapy which is an extract from a cactus plant called huachuma cactus (or San Pedro cactus). According to this veteran, Jason suffers from psychological problems due to the deaths of too many comrades, not necessarily a brain damage.

After drinking this extract, Jason fells into a "sleepwalking" state, in which he reunites and talks to his former comrades who had died such as Metal, Cujo ... and his wife Alana alos. Imaginary conversations help Jason release his "guilty" feelings about their deaths.

In the 16 days of free time while waiting for the results of the radioactive substance test on the corpse stolen in the previous episode, Sonny is partying again and accidentally becomes entangled with some gangsters.

Clay asks Davis to ping Sonny's location so that he can come to bring the bad boy back. At a hotel where Sonny is partying, the two fall into a series of gang attacks because the drunken Sonny had previously stole their drugs at a bar.

Although they are marksmanship commandos, when unarmed, Clay and Sonny are easily bruised at the hands of the gangsters.
