SEAL TEAM SEAON 7 EPISODES 1 & 2
In Episodes 1 & 2, after Jason refused to accept the Navy Cross and criticized the Command for not caring about the mental health of the commandos, Bravo Team was assigned on shore duties, mostly in the status of limbo, without any combat missions for several months.
After several tricks by Sonny and much pressure from Jason, Bravo, accompanied by the outsider Drew Franklin, are then sent to Sweden to support the training of the country's SOG forces. During an unpermitted base getaway, they accidentally fall into a coordinated terrorist attack at a shopping mall.
Without any weapons, they manage to save the victims of the attack and eliminate the terrorists while the local armed forces seem to be unprepared for such an incident.
SEAL TEAM SEASON 7 EPISODE 3
In the general strategy of shifting from a direct war on terrorism to a comprehensive war to contain the power of rival nations, Bravo Team is assigned to approach a ship believed to be transporting fentanyl to plant tracking devices. The ultimate goal is to find proof that China is backing this drug smuggling ring – which is believed to be responsible for the deaths of more than 100,000 Americans each year.
From the US, Bravo flies to the US Consulate in Thailand as their operation base, their operational area is the Heron Reef area near Australia, where the fentanyl smuggling ship refuels. This is a must-no-fire operation.
The reason Bravo was assigned this mission – the first operation in the new strategy, not necessarily because Bravo is considered a strong team, at least at this time because they have not been in combat for a long time, two key members (Jason and Ray) are both nearing their retirement ages and suffering from TBIs; in addition, they are short of the Bravo 6 position after the death of Clay Spenser. In fact, some key members of SOCOM (US Special Operations Command) do not support the new strategy, and they want to give the first mission to a weak team (like the current Bravo) so that it fails and the new strategy goes bankrupt accordingly.
The silver spoon-fed Drew Franklin (Beau Knapp) - the son of a Senator is mobilized into the Bravo team for this operation.
Unlike Oman who had to struggle and endure a lot of skepticism to adapt to Bravo and welcomed by Jason; Drew does not have much difficulty integrating, partly because of his playboy temperament, partly because he had saved Jason's life during the previous terrorist attack in Sweden, and importantly, Drew has many special qualities.
During the operation, Jason's team is stuck in the middle of a patrol web by the enemies, Drew applies a diversionary tactic to help them escape, something similar to the Rambo's action chains which Drew is the master of.
