Bastille Day 2016: An American Pickpocket and a CIA Agent in Paris

Bastille Day (also known as The Take) is a 2016 action film by James Watkins, considered a joint venture between Luxembourg, France and the United States. In the film, American talented pickpocket Michael Mason (Richard Madden) residing in Paris accidentally gets entangled in a terrorist bombing here, and gradually becomes a reluctant partner for CIA agent Sean Briar (Idris Elba).

Does Chris Pratt "join" The Suicide Squad 2 as mouse Sebastian? 👦

Actually, Chris Pratt didn't cast for any role in The Sucide Squad 2021  but a rat was eventually named Crisp Ratt by Director James Gunn in the film's credits - and it's completely easy to confuse with the name of the "The Tomorrow War" actor.

In the film, Daniela Melchior plays a member of Suicide Squad named Ratcatcher 2, who has the power to control rats and has an intelligent pet named Sebastian.

James Gunn had dozens of rats "casted" for the role of Sebastian and ultimately chose two: Jaws and Crisp Ratt.

Together portraying Sebastian, these two mice take on different scenes: Jaws is a gentle one which often plays scenes of sitting on Daniela's shoulder or letting her hug and caress him; while Crisp Ratt is in charge of crazier and more dynamic scenes like drinking water or running across the room...

These rat stars are even given credits at the end of the movie.

As a close friend of Chris Pratt, Gunn still texted the actor about his naming the mouse Crisp Ratt  in the credits, perhaps he was afraid that the actor would interpret him as a mouse. Fortunately, Pratt replied to Gunn that the idea was hilarious, according to Gunn.

By the way, Chris Pratt may prefer dinosaurs as his pets to rats.

The clever Agent Waller this time sets up 2 Suicide Squads.

• Team 1 led by Rick Flag consists of Boomberang, Blackburn, Detachable Kid, Harley Quinn, Weasel, Javelin.
• Team 2 led by Bloodsport consists of Nanaue / King Shark, Abner Krill / Polka-Dot Man, Cleo Cazo / Ratcatcher 2.

They are sent to destroy a Nazi-era laboratory located on a fictional island nation in Central America where many political prisoners are being held and to serve as experimental subjects for the Starfish Project - in which they are fed to the monster Starro.

Flag's team seems to have been chosen as a scapegoat, rather a decoy for Mrs. Waller's diversion scheme, in favor of Bloodsport's team. This team was quickly compromised as soon as they set foot on the beach.

As a play on words to compete with Marvel in "Avengers Vs Kang the Conqueror", the DC studio has named the showdown in the movie "Suicide Squad Vs Starro the Conqueror".

Finally, Suicide Squad has only 4 survivors: Bloodsport, Harley Quinn, King Shark and Ratcatcher. At the end of the credits, it is shown that there are 2 other surviving characters, the Weasel and the Peacemaker (or Pissmaker).
