The series is expected to have the style of classic Amblin coming-of-age adventure from the 1980s. So far, there is no confirmation on the main script; but the story might be set in the New Republic era and tell about a group of kids lost in the galaxy of Star Wars and trying to find their way home.

Jude Law's character has also not been announced. There is much information that the producer is casting child actors of around 11-15 years old to play the roles in the series.

The series is probably set in the same timeline as The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.

Disney also announced the release date of The Mandalorian Season 3 in February 2023.

In the immediate future, the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi character of the Star Wars Universe will return in a series of the same name to be broadcast on May 25, 2022. The series is set 10 years after the events of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005) when the Empire is rising across the galaxy and continuing its extensive hunt for the surviving Jedi.

What Might Happen in The Mandalorian Season 3? [Star Wars]

Some thoughtful fans of The Mandalorian series in the Star Wars universe believe that Part 3 of the series will follow Mando Din's journey to regain the glory for the Mandalore kingdom. Mando will play a larger role, becoming the leader of the Mandalorian people instead of just a bounty hunter or Baby Yoda's "adoptive father".

The following predictions are based on some developments in the recent series The Book of Boba Fett – seen as Season 2.5 of The Mandalorian, and some behind-the-scenes stories. However, predictions can be right or wrong.

The Unification of the Mandalorian Factions

When it comes to the history of Mandalore so far we only know through what was told by The Armorer, and it is possible that this planet exists many different sects or factions.

Currently, we see two sects: one of The Armorer and the other of Princess Bo Katan. The big difference between them is the way The Way or The Creed is defined.

The Armorer requires her followers to strictly adhere to the "No Helmet Removal" rule and not to show their faces to anyone in any circumstances. When Mando confessed that he once took off his Beskar hat, The Armorer declared that he was no longer a Mandalorian.

Meanwhile, Bo Katan's Sect considers that Way to be obsolete somewhat. In Episode 3 Season 2 of The Mandalorian, Bo Katan's team took off their helmets the first time they met Mando.

Maybe in Season 3, The Armorer and Bo Katan would have to meet, discuss or even join together to find a common voice to carry out the great quest of revival of the Mandalore kingdom.

The Reincarnation of a legendary Mythosaur

As told by The Armorer, according to Madalorian legend, the rising up of a Mythosaur would herald a new age of Mandalore.

Mythosaurs are giant creatures that inhabit the world of Mandalore in the Outer Rim. The ancient Mandalorians tamed and rode them. However, a great flood happened a long time ago that made them extinct. Their skull is one of the traditional Mandalorian symbols, and some Mandalorian armor bears this distinctive symbol.

To date, Star Wars has not provided a specific shape for the Mythosaur, but according to the description, they looks like a dinosaur - maybe T-Rex's shape is a perfect imitation, and their head is like a dragon with two big fangs.

The Starfighter N-1 can help Mando in the air battle, but in the field battle, it is useless most of the time. Perhaps Mando would also need a mount in the great battles to come. In recent reference, the Rancor mount was an interesting highlight in The Book of Boba Fett series.

Baby Yoda Grogu Becomes "Ironman"

To become a warrior, what would be the weaknesses of Grogu?

First of all, the old boy has limited mobility. Luke trained Grogu to do a few jumps, but only on a basic level; and jumping just a few steps made Grogu… fell asleep from exhaustion!!!

The second limitation is that Grogu's Force is still relatively weak and the uses of it often takes a while to make effects, not suitable for close and fast combat situations. And after each use of the Force, Grogu also… fell asleep.

According to some recent leak (maybe not so reliable), it is possible that the IG-11 robot will be restored so that Grogu can operate on it (or in it) like Ironman.

IG-11 sacrificed itself to save Mando's team in the final episode of The Mandalorian Season 2, but if the Jawas dwarves who are infamously for their stealing talents find the remaining chip set of IG-11, perhaps the restoration of the android won't be too complicated.

Predictions like the above, if they come true, it would be interesting for some fans; if not, there would be other things to be interested enough in replace. The official showtime of The Mandalorian Season 3 may fall in late 2022 or early 2023, based on predictions also, and Disney has not yet confirmed the schedule.

The Book of Boba Fett Season 1 Episode 1: Coronation of the new King in Tatooine 🎥720

In Chapter 1 of "The Book of Boba Fett" Season 1 - Stranger in a Strange Land, Boba Fett relives the time when he escaped from the belly of the monster Sarlacc Pit after being swallowed by it, soon to be robbed of the Mandalorian armor by the Jawas who left him to die in the desert.

In The Mandalorian series, Mando also had his spaceship stolen by the Jawas, and he had to fight the rhino monster, stealing its egg in exchange for the ship equipment.

Unconscious, Boba was taken away by the Tusken bandits. Boba attempted to escape, fending off Tusken's guards and hunt "dog", but is defeated by their leader in a close combat.

The Tesken took Fett and another prisoner, Rodian, to dig sand for water fruits. A two-legged, four-armed sand creature appeared and killed Rodian, but when it attacked the Tusken boy, Fett killed it. The  Tusken boy returned to their camp to announce the good news of the monster slaying.

Chief Tusken greeted Fett with some water.

Years later, Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) and Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) have taken control of the Hutts' criminal empire on the planet Tatooine.

Fett organizes a "coronation" ceremony, in which representatives of the Cities of the planet come to debut and offer tribute. Two Gamorreans, former guards of Jabba the Hutt, were also captured and handed over. Instead of torturing them, Boba decide to choose them as his new guards.

Meanwhile, Mok Shaiz (David Pasquesi), the Twi'lek Majordomo of the Mayor of Mos Espa, appears with no tribute, but just greetings.

After the coronation, they visit Sanctuary, a cantina in Mos Espa run by Garsa Fwip (Jennifer Beals). They received tribute from Fwip in the clever way of putting coins in Boba's helmet.

On the way back, Fett and Shand are ambushed by assassins who use magnetic shields to surround them. They attempt to fend them off, but Fett is wounded and escorted back to his palace by Gamorrean guards while Shand pursues the fleeing attackers across tops of buildings.
