In the episode "Sentinel" of SWAT Season 5, the SWAT 20 team hunts down two Hernandez brothers for their consecutive drug store robberies.

This case is related to a community called Sentinel Guards – an application that gathers information from users to assist police in handling crimes. The app also encourages its users to interfere in some cases.

When the CEO of Sentinel Guards offers a $100,000 prize to find clues about the Hernandez brothers, SWAT is sent to request coordination information from the Sentinel. However, later, from the information of this application, SWAT mistakenly attacks a primary school teacher who looks like Hernandez.

Investigations into Victoria as Hernandez's wife revealed that their daughter is obese and the Hernandez brothers were hunting for expensive insulin. From this clue, SWAT plans to arrest Hernandez at one of the insulin delivery points.

When the subject is holding hostages, Sanchez orders Hondo to back down and Luca to open fire to kill; however, neither of them obey, and Hondo continue to persuade the Hernandez to surrender.

Although the situation was successfully handled, Sanchez later expresses his anger at the humiliation, announces that he would send a report to his superiors that Hondo did not follow orders and suggests that Hondo should leave the team himself.
