SWAT Season 5 Episode 4: Chain of Command 🎥

In the episode "Sentinel" of SWAT Season 5, the SWAT 20 team hunts down two Hernandez brothers for their consecutive drug store robberies.

This case is related to a community called Sentinel Guards – an application that gathers information from users to assist police in handling crimes. The app also encourages its users to interfere  in some cases.

When the CEO of Sentinel Guards offers a $100,000 prize to find clues about the Hernandez brothers, SWAT is sent to request coordination information from the Sentinel. However, later, from the information of this application, SWAT mistakenly attacks a primary school teacher who looks like Hernandez.

Investigations into Victoria as Hernandez's wife revealed that their daughter is obese and the Hernandez brothers were hunting for expensive insulin. From this clue, SWAT plans to arrest Hernandez at one of the insulin delivery points.

When the subject is holding hostages, Sanchez orders Hondo to back down and Luca to open fire to kill; however, neither of them obey, and Hondo continue to persuade the Hernandez to surrender.

Although the situation was successfully handled, Sanchez later expresses his anger at the humiliation, announces that he would send a report to his superiors that Hondo did not follow orders and suggests that Hondo should leave the team himself.

SWAT Season 5 Episode 3: The Stolen Sketches of Buildings 🎥

In Episode "27 David" of SWAT Season 5, the reinstated SWAT 20 Squad, featuring Hondo, goes on to hunt down a gang that breaks into the Drug Enforcement Administration to rob the drug and money evidence being kept here.

Squad 20 is reconstituted and a new man is sent to lead the team, Sanchez – wearing the 20-David badge. Hondo wears a new badge of 27-David.

SWAT is sent to a cable factory to track down the group of people who cut the fence to break in, but the female owner of the facility later say they had not lost anything of value, because the location of the break-in is the storage of some of her late husband's old things.

After discovering some architectural sketches in the lost inventory, SWAT is concerned about the possibility that the target group is planning a mass murder attack. However, they then localizes and determine the likely target of the criminal group would be the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Building, which is containing a large amount of confiscated cash and drugs recently.

During the course of the case, the members of SWAT 20 express their dislike for the new leader. However, Sanchez later reveals that he was sent to the group to find out the inside story to report to his superiors.

SWAT Season 5 Episode 2: The Trap at Dawn

In the episode "Madrugada" (At Dawn) of S.W.A.T. Season 5, the confrontation between Hondo and Arthur Novak in Mexico is increasingly tense; while in the US, SWAT 20 Squad is facing the risk of being disbanded and transferred because there is no longer a leader in charge.

Hondo convinces police officer Charro to quietly join him in investigating Delfina's father's death. Delfina's ex-boyfriend confesses that AJ Novak was the one who killed him and tells  Hondo where to find the killing weapon that AJ buried, a hammer.

With the evidence found, Charro and Hondo try to convince the Town Sheriff to reopen the investigation of Novak's father and son, but to no avail. They must find a way to free Delfina from Novak's compound.

In the ensuing events, Hondo shoots and kills AJ as he attempts to murder Delfina upon her escape. Angered by his son's death, Arthur Novak hires 6 assassins and plots revenge against Hondo at the handover of Delfina at dawn.

The SWAT 20 Squad is now full again after Luca and Chris complete their TLI mission in Germany and return; Street also gradually recovers from the surgery. However, they still lack a team leader - a position which many candidates refused to accept . When the team is about to receive the new assignments of transfer, Hondo just shows up.

Arthur Novak is an international criminal hiding in Mexico under the guise of a businessman. Arthur and his son want to buy the land of Delfina family because they know it has a lucrative silver mine.

According to Hondo's theory, Novak tried to kill Delfina's father and faked the scene as an accident. Arthur Novak's son also sought to harass and threaten Delfina in many ways to force her and her mother to accept the offer of buying their land.

Hondo's vacation soon turns into a somewhat dangerous investigation and fightings. He also finds a way to get the help of a honest local police officer in a system that has been crippled by brides, manipulation and threatening.
