Shark Bait is a survival - thriller film directed by James Nunn, with a production budget of about $5 million. The film follows the struggle for survival of a group of young people who suffer an accident at sea and become the prey of a great white shark.

After a night of partying on the beach, a group of young students on spring break steal jet skis and set sail for chills and thrills.
But their joy quickly turns to tragedy and horror after the two jet skis collide head-on leaving them damaged, one of them injured, bleeding and stranded in shark-infested waters.
They try and risk everything to get to the shore, but each in turn becomes the prey of the shark.
The film, released by Vertical Entertainment, is being premiered in theaters from mid-May 2022.
