Jurassic World 3: Raptor Blue Chases After an Olympics Skier (Dominion 2022)

The producer of the movie Jurassic World 3: Dominion in collaboration with the 2022 Winter Olympics Beijing have recently released a promotional trailer, featuring the appearance of a female athlete skier, Raptor Blue and the legendary T-Rex.

In the trailer, Raptor Blue chases the female athlete; and when the raptor blocks her head and we do not know what will happen, the T-Rex suddenly appears. The presence of the T-Rex causes Blue to flee; and skier has a chance to escape.

Assuming T-Rex wanted to chase after the female athlete, it would be impossible, considering its massive body while the mountainside is covered with snow.

Jurassic World 3: Dominion is set four years after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom 2018 in which genetically modified dinosaurs were auctioned off to companies around the world, while some others were freed on the American mainland.

The story takes the context around the world, in an era where people live with dinosaurs. Jurassic World 3 will be released in June 2022.

After the Fallen Kingdom 2018, series director Colin Trevorrow also made a short Jurassic film called "The Battle at Big Rock". In 2021, a 5-minute preview of Jurassic World 3 was also released, set in the late Cretaceous when a Tyrannosaurus Rex (T-Rex) battled a Giganotosaurus and died.

T-Rex Rexy to come back in Jurassic World 3 and complete her tragic journey

Jurassic World series director Colin Trevorrow said that the 2022 film will feature the coming back of Tyrannosaurus Rex (often referred to by fans as Rexy or Roberta, based on the name given in the novel) which would complete her journey in the series dating back to 1993.

T-REX REXY ALREADY DIED IN HER PREVIOUS LIFE

This mighty T-Rex that first appeared in 1993's Jurassic Park is finally being explained about its genetic origins in "Jurassic World: Dominion".

Based on the idea that dinosaurs can return from extinction by using genetic cloning technology, T-Rex was revived and has served as the pivot in the Jurassic series since its inception, with its fossils have been artistically transformed into the logo of the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World franchise.

Actually, T-Rex already died in her previous life. She went through a life-and-death fight with another dinosaur and lost the battle and lost her life. The minute she died, an ancient mosquito bit her blood, and then the mosquito fell into an amber.

And it was from the blood of T-Rex contained in this mosquito, nearly 100 million years later that scientists cloned the Rexy we have known for the past 22 years.

REXY'S TRAGIC JOURNEY AFTER RESURRECTION

The Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies so far have about 4-5 different T-Rex characters which play different roles and face different destinies and we sometimes confuse between them.

Rexy/Roberta is the T-Rex who fought the raptors in Jurassic Park I and gave the humans a chance to escape (not the mother T-Rex who was kidnapped from Site B and brought to San Diego in Jurassic Park II - The Lost World).

So, Rexy/Roberta continued to live on the island of Isla Nublar until it was turned into the Tyrannosaurus Rex Kingdom for fantasy tourism in Jurassic World. Rexy/Roberta became the savior of Owen, Claire, and the kids as she fighted with the hybrid tyrant Indominus Rex.

However, after the important events in the final part of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the Rexy had to leave the familiar kingdom of Isla Nublar after the volcanic eruption, to enter a completely new world to her: the world of  humans. The planet where she once dominated now is ruled by another species. 

With her temper as a natural tyrant queen, Rexy will surely cause a lot of troubles and becomes the object of police chase and attack in the modern world. And as you can see, she has been single for quite some time - where is her mate so far?

It's still unclear how Colin Trevorrow intends to build an ending to the Rexy/Roberta journey. However, when the orientation of the film is to be associated with science and to serve the children audiences more than in horror - violence theme like the two Jurassic World movies 2015 and 2018, hopefully Rexy will have a happy ending that pleases the young audiences.

Jurassic World: Dominion Imax Preview – T-Rex was killed by Giganotosaurus

Jurassic World 3 will be released in June 2022; However, the movie fans will soon have the opportunity to enjoy a 5-minute preview at IMAX theaters, in front of Fast & Furious 9 – F9. The preview is set in the late Cretaceous when a Tyrannosaurus Rex (T-Rex) fights against a Giganotosaurus and dies.

T-Rex was defeated by Giganotosaurus and thrown off a cliff, where it died and a mosquito sucked its blood. The mosquito was then stained in an amber, and from the blood contained in this amber, scientists cloned T-Rex back to life after nearly 100 million years. It is the beginning of the Jurassic series.

Colin Trevorrow also said that Giganotosaurus will not only appear in the Dominion preview, but will continue throughout the film and serve as the main antagonist - the big bad. As such, Giganotosaurus will probably be cloned also and will have a confrontation with T-Rex again in this modern world.
