Set four years after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom 2018, genetically modified dinosaurs are freed and live freely not only on the US mainland but have spread across the globe. They begin to breed and grow at an amazing rate.

On the DinoTracker website, the whereabouts of dinosaurs are marked with red dots (high aggression), or green ones (low aggression). Clicking on the location, viewers will see videos, images documenting their sighting.

Viewers can look up more by clicking Learn More to know basic information about the specific dinosaurs such as their size, diet, do-and-don't when interacting with them ...

This website is operated by the fantasy Department of Prehistoric Wildlife (DPW). It is introduced as a global organization that publishes up-to-date reports on dinosaur encounters, user-submitted sightings, and vital information, to facilitate the co-existence of humans and dinosaurs on our planet. Formed in 2019, the DPW works with leading scientists, conservationists, and paleo-veterinarians around the world to ensure the protection of our human and prehistoric population.

Similarly, in the marketing campaign for the movie Godzilla Vs Kong 2021, Warner Bros Pictures also released an interactive website called Monarch Sciences, on which users can look up the locations of monsters discovered throughout the world.

Jurassic World 3: Giganotosaurus To Be The "Villain Boss" Dinosaur

In a recent interview with Impire Magazine, Colin Trevorrow, director of Jurassic World: Dominion 2022, said that the giant predatory dinosaur Giganotosaurus first introduced in the Jurassic series will serve as the " villain boss", like "The Joker" in the DC Cinematic Universe.

Bigger. Scarier. With more teeth

The Jurassic series has gone through five movies so far, and each one has one to a few dinosaurs playing a central role, or as the main villain:
  1. Jurassic Park I: T-Rex
  2. Jurassic Park II: 2 T-Rex
  3. Jurassic Park III: Spinosaurus
  4. Jurassic World I: Indominus Rex Hybrid, aquatic Mosasaur
  5. Jurassic World II (Fallen Kingdom):  Indoraptor Hybrid
And following the trend of “Bigger. Scarier. With more teeth", we are expected to meet the giant Giganotosaurus - often referred to as "Giga" for short.

Giganotosaurus is not a hybrid dinosaur but a purebred, science-based species. According to archeology, Gigan is believed to be one of the largest terrestrial predatory dinosaurs known, living in South America (Argentina), with many special features that can be called a Southern Tyrannosaurus Rex version, to correspond to the Tyrannosaurus Rex (T-Rex) discovered mainly in North America.

A Giganotosaurus is typically 12.5m long, weighing 9-10 tons, so this dinosaur is taller and longer but slimmer than Tyrannosaurus Rex. However, it could not displace the African Spinosaurus as the largest terrestrial predatory dinosaur.

In Jurassic World 3, maybe Giga is even bigger than the above scientific parameters because of the process of DNA synthesis and nurturing.

The Origin of Giganotosaurus in Jurassic World 3

Giga is not one of the dinosaurs that escaped Jurassic Park or released from the mansion, because if it was among them, we would have met it in the previous movies.

According to Colin in the interview,  the Jurassic Park dinosaurs were created by InGen Corporation, while Giga was created by BioSyn Corporation. Giga's home is the amber-rich BioSyn Valley. In the Jurassic Park series, BioSyn was a rival company to InGen, which paid Dennis Nedry to steal dinosaur embryos of the time.

Later, when InGen failed, BioSyn wins a contract to manage the captured dinosaurs around the world, hired by governments. BioSyn claims it's a research facility where they can research the pharmaceutical value of dinosaurs, but BioSyn secretly has other intrigues.

Giga was created to destroy the world; and "it just wants to see the world burn," says Trevorrow.

The film's new trailer shows Giga hunting and terrifying our main human characters including Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) and Owen Grady (Chris Pratt); the original Jurassic Park trilogy Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum), Alan Grant (Sam Neill), and Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern); plus the clone girl Maisie (Isabella Sermon) and the new character Kayla (DeWanda Wise).

Trailer 2 of the movie shows that the young of Raptor Blue (Little Blue or Beta) is "kidnapped", most likely this is part of BioSyn's plot.

Dominion is the finale, closing the 30-year journey of the Jurassic Park - Jurassic World franchise. The film will be premiered in theaters from early June 2022, then will be streamed on Universal's Peacock, Amazon Prime Video, and Starz platforms.

Jurassic World Dominion 2022: Raptor Blue on the Hunt with her Little Blue👦

In the official trailer of the movie Jurassic World 3: Dominion, 4 years after being freed into nature and living freely in the world with humans, the dinosaurs begin to give births, quickly growing in numbers; and iconic Raptor Blue also has an identical baby who may be referred to as "Little Blue".

Fans are suggesting some theories for the origin of this Little Blue. The most convincing one is "Life will find a way" - a classic saying from the Jurassic Park, related to the hermaphrodite fertility of the dinosaurs in the series.

All dinosaurs in Jurassic Park were created to be female without males, so as for humans to control their numbers. However, because the synthesized DNA lacked a strand, the scientists used a DNA strand from an African frog to supplement.

What the scientists missed was that frog species  was hermaphrodite, and as a result the dinosaurs in the series were able to reproduce hermaphrodites. They mutate, and the dinosaurs become sequential hermaphrodites, like the frogs, and can switch genders from female to male or female to hermaprodite so that they can fertilize their own eggs with their own sperm.

Therefore, it is possible that Raptor Blue laid her own eggs and then switches to the male to fertilize the eggs - and as a result, Little Blue was born.

Another theory is that among the released dinosaurs, some are genetically similar to Raptor Blue (Blue is known to be the only living Velociraptor), and Raptor Blue mated with him (actually that "he" was also a switched "she" because all are female as said) to reproduce. However, according to this theory, it is unlikely that Little Blue would have the identical appearance as Raptor Blue as in the trailer.

Another theory is that someone intentionally cloned Raptor Blue to preserve her genes.

As hinted in the title of the movie, Jurassic World 3 will delve into the question of whether dinosaurs and humans can coexist. Dinosaurs 65 million years ago dominated the Earth; and predatory dinosaurs at the top of the food chain. Currently, humans are dominating and at the top of the food chain.

As the trailer shows, all the current order begins to turn upside down when the predatory dinosaurs begin to see humans as their prey. In just 4 years, the first few dinosaurs have multiplied and grown to a worrying number, and "they just kept getting bigger and bigger." Man's dominant position on Earth began to shake and man had to find a solution to this problem.
