Jurassic World Dominion 2022: Raptor Blue on the Hunt with her Little Blue👦

In the official trailer of the movie Jurassic World 3: Dominion, 4 years after being freed into nature and living freely in the world with humans, the dinosaurs begin to give births, quickly growing in numbers; and iconic Raptor Blue also has an identical baby who may be referred to as "Little Blue".

Fans are suggesting some theories for the origin of this Little Blue. The most convincing one is "Life will find a way" - a classic saying from the Jurassic Park, related to the hermaphrodite fertility of the dinosaurs in the series.

All dinosaurs in Jurassic Park were created to be female without males, so as for humans to control their numbers. However, because the synthesized DNA lacked a strand, the scientists used a DNA strand from an African frog to supplement.

What the scientists missed was that frog species  was hermaphrodite, and as a result the dinosaurs in the series were able to reproduce hermaphrodites. They mutate, and the dinosaurs become sequential hermaphrodites, like the frogs, and can switch genders from female to male or female to hermaprodite so that they can fertilize their own eggs with their own sperm.

Therefore, it is possible that Raptor Blue laid her own eggs and then switches to the male to fertilize the eggs - and as a result, Little Blue was born.

Another theory is that among the released dinosaurs, some are genetically similar to Raptor Blue (Blue is known to be the only living Velociraptor), and Raptor Blue mated with him (actually that "he" was also a switched "she" because all are female as said) to reproduce. However, according to this theory, it is unlikely that Little Blue would have the identical appearance as Raptor Blue as in the trailer.

Another theory is that someone intentionally cloned Raptor Blue to preserve her genes.

As hinted in the title of the movie, Jurassic World 3 will delve into the question of whether dinosaurs and humans can coexist. Dinosaurs 65 million years ago dominated the Earth; and predatory dinosaurs at the top of the food chain. Currently, humans are dominating and at the top of the food chain.

As the trailer shows, all the current order begins to turn upside down when the predatory dinosaurs begin to see humans as their prey. In just 4 years, the first few dinosaurs have multiplied and grown to a worrying number, and "they just kept getting bigger and bigger." Man's dominant position on Earth began to shake and man had to find a solution to this problem.

Chris Pratt Eats a Live Bug Just Like Raptor Blue Does

Director James Gunn congratulates Chris Pratt on his birthday (21st June) on Instagram, attaching a video [horribly] depicting the actor eating a fly. “Happy birthday to my lifelong pal @prattprattpratt. Here’s a video of a time he came over to my house and ate a bug for no reason”, James wrote.

In response to James' congrats, Pratt wrote: “They call me the mosquito eater-eater”.

Many fans said that maybe Chris Pratt was so hungry and there was no food available at James’ house. “Owen may have been obsessed with how to train the new born Raptor Blue to eat insects”.

Previously Chris Hemsworth congratulated Chris Evans on his birthday (June 13, 2021) on Instagram but instead of posting a photo of himself with Evans, he posted a photo with Chris Pratt.

How the relation between Raptor Blue and Owen would be?

The bond between Raptor Blue and Owen seems to last forever even though they have been seperated from each other. Owen risked his life to rescued Raptor Blue from the natural disaster, and in return, Blue repeatedly challenged the new dinosaur villain to save the life of Owen.

At the end of the Fallen Kingdom, Raptor Blue casted an doubtful eyes on Owen. How their relation would be in the sequel?

 Trong một nghiên cứu mới, được xuất bản trên tạp chí Khảo cổ học, các nhà nghiên cứu từ Đại học Bristol ở Anh đã so sánh các hóa thạch có kích thước giống như loài khủng long Anchiornis với loài khủng long lông vũ khác và các loài chim đã tuyệt chủng.
 

Họ phát hiện ra rằng những chiếc lông vũ của loài khủng  long này có vẻ thô hơn những người họ hàng hiện đại của chúng là các loài chim hiện nay.

Được biết đến như là một “loài chim”, khủng long Anchiornis có kích thước bé nhỏ, chỉ bằng một con quạ. Chúng mang nhiều điểm tương đồng và nhiều điểm khác biệt với loài chim hiện đại.

Nghiên cứu gần đây nhất cho thấy mỗi chiếc lông vũ của loài này có hình dạng như chiếc nỉa, với 2 màng lông chỉa ra 2 phía đối diện. Trong khi đó, các màng lông của loài chim hiện đại thì xếp khít nhau.

Điều này có nghĩa là loài khủng long này khó có khả năng chống ướt như các loài chim. Về mặt khí động học,  kết cấu rời rạc của lông vũ cũng khiến chúng khó có thể bay tốt; thay vào đó, chúng có khuynh hướng lướt gió nhiều hơn, kiểu như các loại chồn bay chúng ta vẫn thấy.

Ngoài ra, lớp lông này có giúp chúng giữ ấm cơ thể.

Anchionis còn được biết đến như loài chim “bốn cánh” vì hai chân và đuôi cũng phát triển những chiếc lông vũ dài. Điều này càng củng cố lý thuyết cho rằng chúng là loài lướt gió.

Chúng ta đã quen thuộc với loài Velociraptor (Raptor) trong loạt phim Công viên kỷ Jura. Trong đó, những con Raptor  trông như những con thằn lằn da trơn.

Nhưng thực ra, trong một phát hiện vào năm 2017, khi nghiên cứu hóa thạch chi trước của loài này, các nhà khoa học phát hiện ra những cấu tạo lỗ chân lông khá to.

Điều này chứng tỏ Raptor cũng là một loài có lông vũ và người ta bắt đầu tạo hình lại cho những con Raptor.

Thế giới khủng long vẫn còn chứa đựng nhiều bí ẩn đối với con người hiện đại.

Như vậy tạo hình trên phim đã khác biệt với thực tế khoa học.

Và chúng ta không rõ, chú khủng long Raptor Blue sẽ mọc lông hay không  khi xuất hiện trở lại trong Bộ phim Thế giới Kỷ Jura dự kiến phát hành vào năm 2018.

Raptor Blue to come back and shine in the Fallen Kingdom

On the occasion of Thanksgiving Day (November 23, 2017) Colin Trevorrow - the Writer and Executive of Jurassic World 2018 - The Fallen Kingdom has posted the first footage of the movie scheduled to be released in June 2018.

In the short video, which lasts only 5 seconds, Chris Pratt can't hide his excitement when petting a baby dinosaur. The creature also shows affection for Pratt as if he were the "daddy of dinosaur".

Fans quickly surmised that the dinosaur in the video is the Raptor named Blue – the only surviving Velociraptor from the 2015 movie.

The last time they saw Blue was after the final battle between T-Rex and Indominus Rex. After helping to save the dinosaur queen, Blue ran into the dark.

A source from the film crew said that the upcoming film will have a script revolving around Blue and her relationship with Pratt.

Spoilers are that some forces intend to create an army of dinosaurs for military purposes, Blue, which carries the highly-intelligent gene in the dinosaur world, will be used for these purposes.

Pratt will be the one to intervene to stop those schemes.
